Let your children unlock their imagination
Delivered by a fully qualified and experienced fashion designer, this course invites children to unlock their imagination to design and make their very own clothes to take home and wear. Kids learn how to create their own designs from conception to construction. After an introduction to Fashion Design and Illustration, students will learn how to sketch and illustrate their own simple fashion garment and (or) accessory. Then students will learn how to construct their designs with guidance on Sewing Safety Rules, basic cutting, sewing and selecting fabric & trims.
By the end of the course, the budding, young designers will get to show off their work at a mini fashion show in front of the class.
Students will leave the course with:
- An Instruction Folder for Sewing Skills;
- Understanding of Pattern Cutting;
- Folder of Designs;
- 1 Finished Garment

8 – 12 years: Wednesdays | 8 sessions | 4:00pm – 6:00pm
13– 16 years: Thursdays | 8 sessions | 4:00 pm –6:00 pm
