Learning basic painting techniques

Under the guidance of a professionally qualified art tutor, students will learn various basic painting techniques from how to correctly hold a brush, an understanding of colour, light and dark tones to perspective, 3D effects and the basics of composition. With individual instruction at their easel students will produce a variety of paintings in different styles.

All the students will have the opportunity to work with oils, which can advance into painting faces, animals, and advanced landscapes and other work within the medium. The tutor also helps students work on their portfolios for university, from start to finish. This guarantees them admission into the largest named universities in the art world.
