Open to all levels – Beginner, intermediate, or advance

Through various oil painting techniques demonstration, artists/students will learn colours values through quick sketches, mixing colours, and brushwork which will be followed by learning to paint on canvas from photographs. Those who wish to draw only are welcome to do so.

Titanium white
Yellow ochre pale
Cadmium yellow
Cadmium red
Burnt sienna
Burnt umber
Ultramarine blue
Ivory black

A prepared canvas, palette, small palette knife for colour mixing, odorless turpentine, linseed oil, or liquin, brushes filbert, flat and round for small details. Some brushes are available to borrow from the Tutor.

Terms and Conditions

1. Pre-registration is required for all classes and payments to be made in advance.
2. Students must attend classes they have registered for and paid for.
3. Makeup classes are provided and refunds are issued only if the art center cancels any lessons.
