Young musicians from 28 nations between the ages of 16 and 26 united by a sense of a shared cultural heritage and a common cultural vision.

From Amsterdam to New York, Moscow to Mumbai, Seoul to São Paolo and beyond, the European Union Youth Orchestra has performed in 43 countries, 177 cities and 224 venues, including many of the world’s greatest concert halls including the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Edinburgh, Lucerne and Salzburg festivals, the BBC Proms and now Dubai Opera.

Under the baton of Vasily Petrenko, one of today’s most sought-after dynamic, young conductors and winner of Male Artist of the Year at the Classical Brit Awards, the European Union Youth Orchestra blend their brilliant individual skills and distinct personalities into an orchestral harmonious whole.
