A genuinely royal event will occur at the InClassica International Music Festival when three acknowledged kings of chamber music meet for a unique concert.
One of the greatest violinists rooted in the great Russian tradition, Maxim Vengerov, is as much a committed chamber musician as Steven Isserlis, one of the most distinguished cellists of the moment. Joined by Roustem Saïtkoulov, award-winning pianist and recording artist, they present a programme that showcases their ability to ensemble musicians and qualities as soloists. Opening with Seven Pieces For Piano Trio by contemporary composer Alexey Shor, the programme continues with Joseph Hollman’s Carmen Fantaisie and Maurice Ravel’s Tzigane, before it spectacularly ends with Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s monumental and highly expressive Piano trio.
