Create your own Butterfly Sun Catcher: Jojo's Art House & Stephanie Robert
Bringing together storytelling, mindfulness and creativity, this workshop will let the children enjoy listening to Stephanie Robert read her delightful story Stella’s Song before exploring the calmness which mindfulness can bring and then using their creative energy to design their very own butterfly to hang in their windows. Butterflies are the perfect match for our Festival theme of Here Comes the Sun, as must spend time in the sun with their wings spread, before they can fly! Jojos Art House is the perfect collaborator for this event.
The tutors: Jojos Art House is a Creative Hub founded by Joanna Chappell with a core mission to promote mindfulness, expression and confidence through art and to illustrate how creativity and use of colour in life can positively affect wellbeing.
Stephanie Robert has a passion for learning about and understanding the effect of positive psychology on the child’s mind. She has published two popular children’s books, Thiago’s Shell and Stella’s Song, and lives in Dubai with her husband, two sons, and her extended family.
