In conjunction with DEWA, there will be a public beach clean-up at the Jebel Ali Marine Sanctuary this Saturday 22nd September.
International Clean Up Day was last week, however there is still plenty of work to do to help our oceans. This year, we plan to include snorkeling as an activity for cleaning up the coast; snorkelers are required to bring their own gear! Please mention your interest to snorkel in your RSVP.
What to bring:
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, appropriate clothing)
- Reusable water bottles (single-use bottles are not allowed!)
- Snorkeling gear (if you plan to participate in the snorkeling clean-up)
The International Coastal Clean Up Day is an annual event with volunteers from over 112 countries around the world participating in collecting trash and protecting the environment.
DEWA is taking part in this event by organizing a 'beach clean-up over a 3 kilometer coastline activity', at the Jebel Ali Marine Sanctuary.
Therefore, DEWA invited you to take an active part in protecting our environment and our planet from pollution.
