GEMS New Millennium School invites everyone to join he 2018 Global Innovation Challenge run by GEMS Education and Singularity University.
The event will be held at the GEMS Wellington Academy Silicon Oasis and will include the top 200 showcase projects, entertainment, food stalls and a range of pop-up workshops and maker spaces.
Through the Global Innovation Challenge, students from around the world have created solutions to the world’s most pressing issues leveraging exponential technologies such as 3D printing and robotics. The top project in each of the twelve categories will be given additional mentorship and the opportunity to present at global showcases including the Singularity Global Summit in San Francisco in August.
All finalists will also be inducted into the Arab Innovation Centre for Education (AICE) Accelerator Programme, which provides mentorship and workshops on design thinking, prototyping, marketing and presentation skills.
