TriYAS celebrates 12 years in 2022.
It is the region's only day into night triathlon festival held annually on Yas Marina Circuit.
TriYAS is open to participants with the emphasis on setting personal targets and achieving them whether you are a first timer or a seasoned veteran.
Swim in the Yas Marina, transition in the Formula 1 Pit Lane, cycle on the 5km track and run through the Yas Marina as you achieve your goal. TriYAS is a true community race and is a guaranteed fun day out for the whole family.
The TriKIDS and Junior Triathlon participants will start the day at 8:00am as the sun rises over Yas Island, followed by the SuperSprint contest at 9:15am and then the Mixed Relay at 10:00am.
These contests are non-drafting and potentailly non-wetsuit (pending water temperature readings).
We move into the afternoon session with the ELITE race (Invitational) at 2:00pm and then the Olympic Triathlon at 3:00pm and the Sprint Triathlon at 4:00pm.
The Elite race in 2022 will continue as the ONLY 'DRAFT LEGAL' Sprint race in the UAE and will feature a number of the region's best triathletes racing head to head.
We finish off the schedule of events with the ever-popular Sprint Duathlon with Individual and Relay Team options at 6:15pm.
