In June 1335, a young man of just 21 years set out to explore the world. His journey spanned 24 years and six different lands - Tunisia, Egypt, Persia, India, China and Andalusia. Along the way, he survived storms and pirates, served as a judge, a scholar and dined with nobles and commoners.
This extraordinary adventure was Ibn Battuta, whose life and travels are a true inspiration, influencing our mall in both design and spirit, and reflected throughout by court names and themes.

Ibn Battuta is located adjacent to Sheikh Zayed Road between interchanges 5 and 6.

When at the mall taxis can be found at Ibn Battuta during mall trading hours and at the following locations:
- Andalusia Court Entrance

Ibn Battuta is also serviced by the Dubai Metro, conveniently located right next to the mall, with bus links to all nearby communities. Ibn Battuta’s station is on the red line in zone 2.
