This experiential family workshop led by artist Rashid Almheiri takes inspiration from science fiction, surrealism, Frankenstein, fantasies and the subconscious mind. Families embark on a journey to expand their imaginations through a series of sensory simulations and prompts.
In this exciting workshop, participants engage in storytelling, writing, drawing and collage while immersing themselves in a captivating chapter of a science fiction novel.
Participants learn to imagine and design dreamy worlds while creating hybrid animal creatures using a variety of materials and mediums. The activities are thoughtfully structured to allow participants to unleash their creativity through spontaneity.
This workshop is free-to-attend and suitable for families of all ages. Early registration is advised as spaces are limited.
No prior art experience is required. All materials and equipment are provided.
