A monochrome is an artwork with one color. Does a monochrome have to be a painting? Can we find monochromes anywhere we go?
Based on the work of artist David Batchelor, children explore new alternatives to the monochrome. As they walk along the lanes of Alserkal Avenue, visiting nearby shops, children locate and photograph found monochromes. They will then return to JPNF to create a collage of their photographs.
All children below 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Children must bring their own camera or smart device.
Contribution: 150 AED
Suitable for children ages 7-12 years old.
