Public speaking skills for kids - confidence and success
Public speaking is one of the fears faced by both adults and children. You can never start too young to learn a skill which will last a life time! If your child learns this crucial skill in their childhood you will help them to avoid being fearful about speaking in public for the rest of their lives.
Children are generally far less self-aware than adults, so the pressure to speak is less threatening for them. Which means, the sooner you start teaching your child public speaking skills the better. Public speaking is an essential part of the communication cycle and a good public speaker is soon set apart from their colleagues and chosen for school plays, and presentations etc, all of which adds to a child’s confidence and skills giving them a head start and even more opportunity to become great communicators and leaders.
Our course is run by an international award-winning speaker who started presenting when she was just 6 years old! She has coached many VIPs in the art of speaking, writing speeches for CEO’s and leaders. The skills remain the same whatever the age and the necessity to be a good public speaker is still valid today.
