The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates autism’s prevalence as 1 in 59 children. This includes 1 in 37 boys and 1 in 151 girls. You are invited to participate at this year's “Global Autism Awareness Festival & Walk 2018”. The family event, held under the patronage of UAE Red Crescent and in collaboration with Dubai Healthcare City and Dubai Municipality, will take place at Dubai’s Zabeel Park on Saturday 3rd November 2018. In its 9th year, more than 10,000 people are expected to take part to help raise awareness of Autism and promote the importance of including children of determination in the Community and will offer a plethora of fun-filled activities and entertainment for children and families.
