We have separate classes for different age groups for Children’s Tae Kwon Do to ensure that their skills will be honed and practice well. Here are the age group divisions:
- Little Tigers – Age 4-5
- Kids – Age 5-12
- Youth – Age 13 & Up (transition to Adult Tae Kwon Do)
Unique thing about classes in Dubai Martial Arts is that classes also include group discussions and role-playing exercises. We discuss life lessons and offer alternate solutions to resolve and handle various problems especially among children’s cases.
The good thing about the students is that they really pay close attention to the discussions. Some of the topics that we usually discuss include:
- Avoiding conflicts
- Dealing with bullies
- Mental self defense
- Proper respect for adults
- Stranger awareness
- Respect for self and others
- Saying no to drugs and peer pressure
