Lakes Nursery is a warm and welcoming nursery where children can explore, discover, learn, and find their place in the amazing world around them.

Children are encouraged to be curious, express themselves, laugh and have fun! It is a beautiful purpose built childcare nursery, which opened its doors on 27th November 2007. Their children are a unique part of a wonderful, family oriented environment. Lakes Nursery has gradually expanded and it can now proudly boast a team of 25 members of staff and 7 classes.  The specially chosen staff are focused on nurturing and educating and have a genuine love of working with children. They come from various cultures and backgrounds and are well qualified with years of experience behind them.

Here at the Lakes you can follow the Early Years Curriculum and the children’s ages vary from 18 months to 4 years old.

The children learn the skills needed to become strong, confident individuals who are capable of learning and achieving through positive relationships, enabling environments and an understanding that every child is unique. The children are introduced to new ideas and are encouraged to be independent thinkers through the seven Areas of Learning and Development
Classes follow six-weekly themes which tie into the seven key areas of learning. Themes are chosen to suit the developmental age of the children within each class and children are able to progress through a series of ‘stepping stones’ working towards early learning goals; enabling them to gain confidence and providing them with a sound foundation to become lifelong learners.
Here in Dubai everybody is fortunate to live in such a globally diverse community. The Nursery incorporate the sense of diversity in a programme that is culturally sensitive and which builds the self-confidence of the children by integrating the cultures of all the children into learning experiences. Providing the children with a multicultural programme helps boost self-esteem and teaches them about acceptance and diversity.
