Learn about the significance of Ramadan - join for a Cultural Iftar!

 

Held in courtyard of wind-tower house in the heart of Al Fahidi District, the Historical Emirati neighbourhood, your evening begins with the Athan (the call to preyer) followed by the breaking of the fast with your Emirati hosts. Enjoy Arabic coffee and dates and then take a moment to watch your hosts pray, before a delicious array of Emirati dishes are served for Iftar. During the event, you are invited to ask any question you may have about Ramadan, the culture or traditions of the UAE. After Iftar, join the visit to the Diwan Mosque, before returning to SMCCU house for dessert and tea.

SMCCU kids corner - Ramadan: Bring your kids to our Iftar and let them have fun while they learn and experience the Holy Month! Lots of activities including storytelling, arts and crafts and live falconry are awaiting them!

The gathering for the Iftar Events will commence approximately 30 minutes before the call to prayer every evening from 19th May to the 12th June 2018.

Tickets: AED 185 per person, children 7-12 yo at AED 90 per person, children under 6 yo are free.
