Workshop Details:
The undersea world can be really exciting. This activity is an exploration of the many colors and forms of the sea. Students will be creating a seascape depicting what they think/ know it looks like by reusing old newspaper. Let your seahorses go wild. The choice of subject aims at generating interest and to tickle their curiosity about the world under the sea – the colors, the creatures.
Focus Skill
Tear and Paste Collage. Children will be interacting with paper differently and learn that paper can be used to create with rather than just create on.

About the Facilitator:
As a creative person, physically immersing myself in space/ project helps make a deeper, more satisfying connection with myself. This connection helps communicate freely and build a bond with other individuals be it, children or adults. Keeping it real and simple makes it the best way to Express, have Fun, Focus, and Play. As a brand designer, I realize the importance of individuality and constantly work on keeping my interactions as special as the child in front of me. In India, I have had the opportunity to design props, sets, and structures for children’ theatre and have taken creative sessions for toddlers/ preschoolers in London/ Dubai. Combining movement, keeping a flow of dance, color, sounds, and form are some of the tools for expression, creative engagement, and narration that I like to use. After my undergrad in Visual Communication Design from the Srishti School of Art, Design & Technology, Bangalore India, I pursued an MA in Graphic Branding and Identity from the London College of Communication, UAL, London, UK. Storytelling for brands, companies, and individuals has been the focus of my career.

How to get there?
There is a free underground parking at the main boulevard road, town square parking 2, stairs 9 (immediately take a left after you enter parking 2) or for the lift use staircase 11, then Soul Art Center is few minutes walking from there.
Valet is now available at the centre, for 15 AED with the centre's stamp.
