Exclusive course for Homeschool Students!

Come and experience the thrill of robotics and programming, with STEM for kids' newly developed Mbot course! Build and program a small robot. Learn how to make it sense its surroundings, react in real time, negotiate a maze and face off against other robots in a sumo wrestling contest!

At the end of your course, students have the option to keep the robot - bring it home and annoy their pets, or continue the learning with multiple online guides and open source projects!

This exciting short course in robotics, for home school students will be held at The Sustainable City (next to Arabian Ranches) on Thursday mornings between 10am and 11am.

The course will last 8 consecutive weeks from the 18th January 2018.

Option 1 - Using Stem For Kids stock robots. Students build and program one of our robots using MIT developed Scratch programming software on our touch screen laptops. Over the term long course, students will the learn the logic and practical elements of programming. The fee for this course is AED 700.

Option 2 - With purchase of their own MBot. As in option 1, except at the end of the course, students keep their MBot and are guided to resources to continue their learning at home. The fee for the course, with purchase of their own MBot is AED 1,200

You will be able to upgrade from option 1 to option 2 at any time during the course, with one weeks notice.

The class is available on a first-come-first-served basis. As spaces are limited, please register your child by completing the Child Enrollment Form and your registration will successfully be confirmed shortly after.
