Afterschool Arts Club is a youth programme that runs every Tuesday.
Following COVID safety guidelines, the Afterschool Arts Club fosters creative practices in young artists by providing tutorials in a variety of arts and design skills. Every workshop will have a different outcome, ranging from ink collages to sound illustrations.
The year 2021 was declared as the International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development by the United Nations. To reflect our long-term commitment to sustainability, Tashkeel is dedicating an entire week of workshops for 8 – 16 year olds as an extension of our regular Afterschool Arts Club.
Divided into two age groups, these workshops focus on using sustainable materials to achieve fun, creative results that stimulate the participants’ critical thinking, imagination, and problem-solving skills.

- 23 November: Paper Looms
- 30 November: Shibori Dyeing
- 7 December: UAE Greeting Cards
