Registrations now open for The Courtyard Playhouse's exciting and highly interactive Drama classes

DRAMA FOR KIDS: 5 – 8 YEARS

Saturdays 10 am – 11 am (Thirteen 1 hour sessions + Showcase)

Drama classes for kids and teens are designed to give children an excellent grounding in scripted acting with qualified teachers in a beautiful theatre setting and a creative, vibrant community atmosphere.

In addition to lifelong friendships, the skills that children and teenagers develop during drama classes are valuable to those wanting to pursue a career in acting and to those who are joining for a fun, expressive, after school activity. The theatre fosters life skills such as confidence, public speaking skills, team-work, imagination, communication and literacy.

All of the classes conclude with a showcase in our theatre, giving the children a chance to put what they have learned into practice and gain important stage experience in front of an audience in a professional theatre.
