The Haunted Rainforest

The Haunted Rainforest

Looking for a unique way to get in the Halloween spirit? Look no further than The Haunted Rainforest at The Green Planet – the ultimate destination to keep the little monsters and grownups alike thoroughly entertained this spooky season.

The family-friendly indoor tropical rainforest in City Walk is set to transform into an eerie Halloween haunt, complete with spooky spider webs, animal skeletons, pumpkins galore and a series of “Face Your Fears” animal encounters.
Visitors can expect more than two-weeks of fun-filled activities and spooky games. Get involved in frightful fun with spooky animal face painting (available Thursday to Saturday) and a range of games including hopscotch and pumpkin tic-tac-toe. This spooky rainforest will showcase a range of tomb stones throughout to showcase extinct animal species to an educational peak at animals of past.
Across Halloween, The Haunted Rainforest will also be unleashing a thrilling series of “Face Your Fears” animal encounters at an additional charge, giving guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with slithery snakes, hairy tarantulas, slippery millipedes, scaly lizards and more.
Brave visitors are invited to embark on an interaction with one of the most feared (and we think slightly misunderstood) families in the Animal Kingdom – the reptiles daily at 12.30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm. During these interactions, guests will also get the chance to face their fears while touching a range of seriously creepy crawlies including the millipede, roaches, worms and even a tarantula (if they dare!).
Additionally, plenty of new photo opportunities are also up for grabs with daily, slithery Meet & Greet experiences which provide small groups at a time of brave explorers the opportunity to hold and capture a photo with one of The Green Planet’s slithery snakes or scaly lizards.
Boasting the region’s only bat cave, offering visitors the chance to meet some of nature’s most thrilling and wondrous denizens, and over 1,000 piranhas, which are fed at 4pm daily, resulting in a jaw-dropping feeding frenzy – The Green Planet is one eerily educational experience you won’t want to miss this Halloween.
