The focus of the workshop will be on how to create shadows, highlights, and mid tones.
As you progress you shall explore tones and masses created by charcoal.
Important Notes
- It’s best to learn what's an important area of focus on your piece of drawing.
- Drawing should be a fun and relaxing activity.
- It should not be stressful.
Most people are already used to drawing with a pencil so it may take some time to become accustomed to charcoal. But don't worry, you will get better with time. That's why it is important to understand the value and have the ability to draw the values that you see.
