Parent-Child Therapeutic Art Workshop is a developmentally appropriate activity that provides an opportunity for both parents and children to interact, to express emotions and unspoken conflicts, necessary for the enhancement of self and their relationship.
This Parent-Child Therapeutic Art Workshop aims to strengthen parents/children's relationships to ensure the children a proper overall development. Parents need to make a conscious effort to build a relationship with their children.
This special family activity creates unique parent-child bonding experiences through art. New communication between the adult and child results from sharing creative experiences in this non-judgmental, fully supportive environment.
The Parent-Child Therapeutic Art Workshop approach has also improved and reinforced the visual, verbal and conceptual skills of children. The program begins with an orientation for the parents or adults who accompany the child in the workshops.
