Single Stroke painting is a very interesting decorative painting technique which consists of loading a brush with two separate colors and achieving the shading and highlighting in one stroke.
It’s a very simple technique and yet it gives some of the most interesting combinations, especially when you have different colors on the brush. The one-Stroke method lets you blend, shade, basecoat, and highlight all in one stroke – and hence make painting quick and easy. It is perfect for anyone to try especially a beginner, and it’s so versatile that artists of any skill level will enjoy its speed and simplicity.
The workshop will introduce the participants to single stroke painting and the many techniques used, which will help them create simple patterns (flowers).
At the end of the 2-4 hr workshop, they will have a completed artwork which they can take home.
The participants will have to carry a sketchbook, an art kit will be provided at the workshop.
