Join us on December 9th, 2023, for the 5th edition of the CANVAS Painting Competition at Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dubai. Ignite your child's creativity and passion for art by registering them now. This vibrant event promises a day filled with colors, imagination, and artistic expression. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Entry is free to participate in the competition.
2. The competition will start at 08:30 AM and close by 6:30 PM. Participants must choose their time slot during registration.
3. The competition is divided into 4 groups.
- Group A – 4 to 6 years (PRE-DRAWN DRAWING SHEETS WILL BE PROVIDED)
- Group B - 7 to 9 years (Theme) Eco-Friendly UAE: Promote environmental awareness by asking kids to depict a green and sustainable UAE, with emphasis on preserving nature and wildlife.
- Group C - 10 to 13 years (Theme) Cultural Fusion: Encourage kids to showcase the rich cultural diversity of the UAE through paintings that blend traditional and modern elements.
- Group D - 14 to 16 years (Theme) Future Cityscapes: Let their imaginations soar as they paint futuristic landscapes of the UAE, envisioning what cities might look like in the years to come.
4. First, Second, and Third prizes will be awarded for each group, along with 10 runners-up from each group.
5. All participants are advised to reach the venue at least 10 minutes before the starting time of the competition and as per the chosen time slot.
6. Participants should enter the venue as per the allocated time slot provided during registration.
7. The duration of the competition is 60 minutes.
8. Group A will be provided only with a pre-drawn coloring sheet. Drawing sheets should be collected from the assigned person at the venue.
9. Groups B, C & D will be provided with the officially supplied drawing sheet. However, participants are encouraged to bring their canvas for better results. Only plain canvases are allowed; no pre-existing paintings or drawings should be on the canvas.
10. Participants must bring their colors, supporting board, and any other required materials. Participants can use colors of their choice.
11. An independent panel of judges will decide the winning entries. The decision of the judges will be final and not open for challenge in any manner.
12. All participants will receive a participation certificate after the competition.
13. Winners and prize distribution details will be sent via email only to the winners within a week of the competition day.
14. Judgment will be based on the theme and creativity.15. After the online registration process, ensure to carry a printout of the registration form.
15. This event is open to all nationalities and schools within the age group of 4 to 16 years.
