“Mathematics is a language which is misinterpreted by all, but spoken by None”. This defines the relevance of introducing creative mathematics for our eager learners across the globe. Mathematics can be well comprehended when we offer the students hands-on learning experience.
To bring such a change in the dynamics of education, UnMath school has arrived to break the age-old myth of mathematics. It is an initiative which teaches the learners, aged 3-18, about the subconscious language of the subject.
From the year of inception, 2012, over 50,000 students and more than 8500 teachers have been mentored and our initiatives have been implemented in more than 150 schools and presently operate in Asia, Middle East, and the USA.
To make learning a celebration beyond boundaries, we intertwine mathematics and fun. From here, students craft experiences that are engaging and playful. Taking mathematics outside the confined walls of classrooms has a myriad of benefits, which include improving the ability to grasp the
concepts even better.
We bring life to this creativity (math beyond textbooks) by teaching them about Number Literacy and Number Interpretation. Here, the students recognise the importance of numeracy skills and what place it holds in the everyday demands of life. They learn to communicate and interpret mathematical information and gain fundamental skills that will help them achieve success in their future career.
Our BluePrint
Our core of teaching consists of three important aspects; subconscious learning, discovering the creative side of math, and applying the AR Model ( Acceptance Rejection Model).
The AR Model’s approach helps the students register the experiences of perceived rejection, and frame a perception of life. UnMath School aims to popularise this analysis, as it constructs the personality of the student, through its process of learning from the rejection.
Creative math is the most potent tool of our initiative, which stands out from the universal practice of mathematics. Here we introduce our students to the ingenious side of this subject, which lays the foundation of design thinking in the future, away from the usual symmetries and patterns of textbooks.
The idea of subconscious language is the USP of our UnMath, as it highlights how math has been infiltrated in the trajectory of life. Students often fail to unearth this language, thereby creating a web of myth in their minds.
