This fun and interactive science activity is the perfect hands-on way for children to learn about palaeontology!
Using fossil-themed materials and tools, they will create their own fossils and demonstrate an understanding of fossil formation. Children will further learn to distinguish between different types and characteristics of fossils and then carefully excavate quality ‘body fossils’ and ‘trace fossils’. Children will also be challenged with guided, critical thinking skill questions and be asked to interpret various visual models.
