Come enjoy fun soundtrack numbers performed by the Maha Bodhi School Alumni Band, with tunes from Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Shrek, Doraemon and more!
Maha Bodhi School Alumni Band (MBSAB) started out with a CD recording project in 2005. Consequently, the alumni remained largely dormant until 2009, when members were called back once again to be involved in Maha Bodhi School Symphonic Band's (MBSSB) concert, titled Odyssey II.
The official formation of MBSAD started in 2009, when the first Executive Committee of the alumni band was instituted. Since then, MBSAB has taken on a range of projects for MBSSB, such as helping them with their own concert series, Odyssey, organising camps to develop the children's musical talent and leadership skills, as well as forming Demo Band for the children during the Singapore Youth Festival seasons.
Under the baton of Resident Conductor, Yeo Jie Yuan and Music Advisor, Quek Boon Hui, MBSAB hopes to give its members a meaningful platform to reminisce, learn and grow.
Advisory: Admission is free and on a first-come, first-served basis, please come early to avoid disappointment. Seating is limited and your group can only enter when everyone is present (no seat reservation is allowed). All ages are welcome and they encourage parents to be mindful of their young children so the performance can be enjoyed by all.
