HT World Debate Society is a global platform for Young Scholars to spark new ideas, get inspired by industry experts, Scholars and 5-star speakers, engage with peers living thousands of miles away, build up the skills and confidence for expressing well-articulated thoughts, polish their portfolio with extraordinary opportunities - all through the means of debating and public speaking.
While the world is on pause, HT keeps going and strives to bring you even more valuable opportunities. HT is hosting Hong Kong Team Open Selection for the coming International Debate & Speech Championship and we invite Students to try for a spot on the team. The Championship period is from Sep 2021 - July 2022. Hong Kong team members will face other regional teams, from Singapore, Canada, Taipei etc in online tournaments throughout the year. The Final Tournament of Champions will take place in July 2022 in The USA in person.
This HTWDS invitation is an extraordinary international experience and opportunity for students who have a strong passion and talent in Speech Communication Arts that will elevate students’ confidence, eloquence and portfolio.
Students aged 8-18 are encouraged to register for the Open Selection for a place on HK Team in August by zoom as our panel is live from USA, CAN & UK.
