Located in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong, Little Gems Playgroup sprouted from a vision to create a warm, nurturing, early years environment where children are given the opportunity to learn, socialise, explore and create at their own pace. The classes provide a general structure/routine but within the structure there are still many opportunities for a more child-led approach to take place.
Little Gems Playgroup understand that every child is unique and foster this by creating purposeful, well planned and differentiated learning opportunities that facilitate all areas of a young child's development.
They believe that small class sizes are key to giving your child the time and space they need to flourish and grow in order to be competent, curious and confident little learners that thrive in any environment.
- Baby Accompanied Class 12-18 months
Content: These classes will consist of child-initiated play, group time, physical (fine and gross motor), creative and sensory exploration, treasure basket time, music and movement/goodbye story and songs.
Duration: 1hr.
- Toddler Class 18 months+
Content: These classes will consist of child-initiated play, group time, physical (fine and gross motor), creative and sensory exploration, snack time, goodbye story and songs.
Duration: 1.5 hrs.
- Drop off class 2 years - 3.5 years
Content: These classes will consist of child-initiated play, group time, physical (fine and gross motor), creative and sensory exploration, snack time, goodbye story and songs.
Duration: 2 hrs.
