To recognise Endangered Species Day, we are offering our 2019 Event Members a screening of the Movie Blue at The Junction in Dubai.
BLUE is the story our generation need to hear. The industrialization that has occurred in the oceans over the last century, mirrors the events that triggered mass extinctions on land. Industrial scale fishing, habitat destruction, species loss and pollution have placed the ocean in peril. The very nature of the sea is being irretrievably altered. Blue The Film is a provocative journey into the ocean realm, witnessing this critical moment in time when the marine world is on a precipice. Our ocean has been the guardian of life on earth. Now it is our turn to be guardians for the ocean.
This screening is suitable for children 12 years and above and will be followed by a Question and Answer session with Marine Biologist Arabella Willing and Marine Conservationist Natalie Banks. If you aren't already a 2019 Event Member and would like to attend this film, please get in touch via our email address at admin@azraqme.org
Event Membership starts from 60 AED for one film for the year and 100 AED for two films and can be paid via Cash, Cheque, Bank Transfer or Paypal.
We would like to thank our event sponsors Liquid of Life Retold and Bags of the Future for their ongoing commitment to support our movie nights.
