As part of the Korean Film Festival 2018 Dubai edition, join us for a special Cinemini presentation of animated feature film The Shower (소나기).
Bring your little ones and enjoy this magical animation based on a short story by the same name written by Hwang Sun-Won in 1952 which is regarded as one of the greatest masterpieces in Korean literature.
Organized by Korea-Arab Society, in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Center and sponsored by the Korea Foundation, Cinema Akil is hosting the Dubai edition of the Korean Film Festival 2018. KFF 2018 promotes cultural awareness and aims to connect the two nations through the sharing of films.
The film is in Korean with English subtitles. Tickets are AED50 + VAT and are only available for sale at the box office. Children under 3 years old enter free.

A special Cinemini edition part of the Korean Film Festival’s Dubai edition co-presented by the Korea-Arab Society and in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Center. A girl spends time on one of the stepping stones at a brook, whilst a boy stays put awkwardly for days as she's blocking his way. As the girl breaks the silence and the two start to get along, having fun together in the mountains, a sudden shower of rain pours down and the girl falls ill.

TRAVEL BY CAR
From Sheikh Zayed Road, take the Al Manara exit (Exit 43) into Al Quoz. Go straight on Al Manara Street until you reach the traffic light facing Home Centre. At this junction, turn right. Continue straight then turn right onto 17th Street, before the Avenue. At the end of the road, turn left onto 6A Street for parking.

The closest metro station to Alserkal Avenue is Noor Bank station. From there, you will need to take a taxi to our location.
