Dubai English Speaking College (DESC) is a British curriculum school and the sister school of Dubai English Speaking School (DESS), which prides itself on being the oldest British school in Dubai. DESC provides an excellent all-round experience for students aged 11-18 years, both within and beyond the classroom. The extensive extracurricular programme offers a wide range of opportunities that enable our students to be active participants, work effectively with others and develop their leadership skills.

DESC students benefit from personalised pastoral care.The House system offers many opportunities in terms of participation and leadership for students to be able to form an identity as part of a community of learners. The House names, Desert, Earth, Sky and Coast, which the students decided on, very much relate to the landscape upon which Dubai exists.

The House colours are orange for Desert, green for Earth, purple for Sky and blue for Coast.
