Korean Cultural Center in the UAE


The first Korean Cultural Center in the Gulf region.

 

Korean Cultural Center in the United Arab Emirates (KCCUAE) was established in March 2016 in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, and is run by Government of the Republic of Korea to introduce Korea to the region and raise the cultural exchanges between the two countries. KCCUAE focuses on spreading Korean culture including its language, art, food, craft, Taekwondo, etc. and strengthening friendly relationship between the two countries through various programmes run in KCCUAE’s facilities.

Traditional Experience Zone

Resembling Korean traditional house called Hanok, this area lets visitors to experience Korean traditions

ICT Hall

ICT hall exhibits various media contents and IT technology of Korea, featuring Media Library where you could stream Korean media contents and Virtual Center where you could communicate with the similar facilities in Korea.

Arirang Hall

Exhibitions and performances are held in Arirang Hall.

Korean Food

This room displays Korean halal certified foods and holds cooking classes

Library

Library holds over 1,500 books and 100 DVDs on Korea.

Seminar rooms

Korean language courses and cultural classes are held in 4 different seminar rooms

Hanmadang

More active cultural classes such as Taekwondo are held in Hanmadang.

Sunday - Thursday 9:00am to 6:00pm.
