Welcome to Mountain Extreme, Dubai’s premier indoor rock climbing facility!
Mountain Extreme is a world-class, family-friendly climbing wall in the heart of Dubai. We work hard to maintain a welcoming, clean and safe environment for all.
Our facility boasts a variety of terrains–from vertical to steep– and a route spread from 4a to 8a+ with boulder problems from Vb to V12. Regardless of your interests and abilities, we’ve got something to keep you moving.
The minimum age to climb at Mountain Extreme is 6 years old.
- Kids Pay As You Go Climbing
Kids PAYG Climbing sessions are scheduled daily, for children and teenagers between 7 and 17. These sessions are fully supervised by an instructor and include all equipment (shoes and harness). Ideal for anyone under 18, we tailor the session to your child's ability to make sure they get the most out of their time with us.
- Young Climbers Program
The Young Climbers Program at Mountain Extreme is open to children of all abilities between the ages of 7 and 17. We follow the NICAS Syllabus and award certificates from Level 1 to Level 3. Subscription to our Young Climbers Program gives children access to 8 climbing lessons per month where they will learn technical skills like knots and belaying, and improve their climbing technique with qualified instructors.
Climbing and collaborative games also emphasize teamwork, leadership skills, and goal setting in a dynamically fun and supportive environment!

Family Membership
A Family Membership gives your family unlimited access to the wall, free technical and technique workshops for parents, and discounts on our Young Climbers Program subscription. Parents get a full induction where we advise on how to best look after children in the climbing environment. Parents need to be present at all times when their children are climbing.

Private Events
Climbing is a great way to have fun with friends. If you are a group of 6 or more, get in touch and let us know how we can help! Our team of instructors will make sure you get the most out of your session.

Belay Tests
All members wishing to use the rope climbing areas of the wall must be certified by a staff member before they can belay another climber. We offer free belaying classes to members to get you started. Once you're confident, you're ready for the Top Rope Belay Test!
If you have belayed before, you can demonstrate your skills during a Top Rope Belay Test. Top Rope Belay Tests are offered free of charge everyday until 8:00 p.m. If you need a course or refresher, sign up for Top Rope Belay Class. Belayers must be age 15 or older

Never Stop Learning
Mountain Extreme offers world-class instruction in rope skills, bouldering, and climbing movement. Keep an eye out for special clinics on fingerboard training, women’s specific climbing, slacklining, and more!

Kids Pay As You Go Climbing Class: 150 AED (60 minute Climbing Experience with a qualified Climbing Instructor. All equipment included (shoes & harness))
Young Climbers Program: 800 AED (8 x 90 minute Climbing Classes per month with a qualified climbing instructor.)
