This program is about teaching Functional living skills to children with autism, ADHD and developmental delays. Teaching these skills is important to enable a child to achieve independence and to mitigate mal-adaptive/problem behaviors. Some of these skills include daily living skills, academic skills, social skills, communication etc. Teaching these skills involves assessing the child/ individual, developing targets, breaking those targets into smaller components to be taught, determining prerequisite skills to teach an activity and teaching the activity using various techniques.
This program is intended to teach parents and teachers impart skills to children, help increase their independence, and lead better quality of life.
