Registrations now open for kids improvisation classes
Would you like your child to be more expressive, creative, and spontaneous? Would you like a fun way to teach them to become a better risk taker, listener, or storyteller? IMPROVISATION is a skill learned by performers, teachers, business managers, creative experts and children around the world. Whether it's for performance or just a fun hobby, improvisation skills can make children more aware of the subtle messages all around them. It can make them respond quicker than they normally would. It can lower the fear level associated with risk taking. Besides being useful in every area of life, improvisation is just plain fun and a great way to make life-long friendships!
- Maximum of 15 participants ensuring you get the personalised attention that you need
- Over 16 hours of tuition including stage-time in a professional theatre
- A showcase performance at the Courtyard Playhouse open to your friends and family
Workshop participants have the option to gain invaluable experience every Wednesday or Monday 8-10pm, to learn the ropes: helping with lighting, sound, scenography, and front of house.
Fridays 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm (Thirteen 1 1/2 hour sessions + Showcase)
