Celebrating 36 years, the Abu Dhabi Striders first hosted the half marathon back in 1984 and to this day continue to be the most active of running groups in the capital with an organised program that spans 365 days of the year.
In 2020 we take a new direction and move the run to Yas Marina Circuit and the surrounding area. With social distancing and covid protocols we are unable to close down the greater roads of Yas Island nor host a post race function like previous years.
The course will start and finish on Yas Marina Circuit and take runners on the lap of the track before heading out towards Shams Tower and then across towards East Gate returning to the track for a 2nd lap.
Registration includes race shirt and fashion face mask with all finishers receiving a finishers' medal.
