Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, the only Emirati-themed waterpark in the world, is inspired by the UAE’s rich heritage of pearl diving through its unique story of ‘The Legend of the Lost Pearl’.
As the UAE’s first mega waterpark and winner of TripAdvisor's 2015 Traveler's Choice Award, Yas Waterworld has it all. You'll find that the rides are split into four zones according to their intensity so there really is something for everyone. Whether you want to scream your way down 20m-high tornado waterslides, free fall down Jezebel Drop or chill out on the lazy river. Even the kids can put their detective skills to the test as they follow cartoon character Dana on her treasure hunt for a magical pearl. Once you've worked up an appetite there are plenty of dining options on offer, from cafe-style snack bars to butler-serviced beach cabanas!
Yas Waterworld is home to 45 exhilarating rides, slides and attractions – five of which can be found nowhere else in the world. With rides and experiences on offer to thrill both the young and the young at heart, the waterpark plays host to Dawwama – the world’s first hydro-magnetic tornado waterslide, as well as the globe’s first interactive water and laser rollercoaster, Bandit Bomber.
The park has been awarded over 17 industry awards and accolades, including being ranked #4 in the Leisure & Entertainment Category in the 2015 YouGov BrandIndex UAE BestBrand Rankings, as well as the 2017 Travelers’ Choice Award by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site for the second consecutive year. It has also enticed a number of A-List celebrities through its fortress-like doors.
