Arcade@Cyberport rings in the winter festivities with a never-before-seen Christmas wonderland. From now until January 1, 2020, Arcade@Cyberport will transform into a Magical Christmas Town filled with music and digital art. This land of ice and snow will feature four major digital zones comprising a 3D hologram, a 6m-tall Magical Ice Gate, The Christmas Interactive Video Wall and Polar Light Ice Cave. A marriage of interactive technology and art, the 3D Hologram brings about a Christmas from the future; the 6m-tall Magical Ice Gate, meanwhile, whisks visitors away to a land of subzero temperatures. Be Santa’s little helper and collect snowflakes at The Christmas Interactive Video Wall; and drink in mesmerizing Northern Lights at the 360-degree Polar Light Ice Cave. Arcade@Cyberport invites you to step into the enigmatic winter wonderland with a selection of festive activities and seasonal blockbusters at the Outdoor Christmas Movie Screening. Kids can put on their child-whizz caps and unleash their boundless imagination at Cyberport x Tublock STEAM Workshop, where they’ll discover the wonders of engineering and science. Arcade@Cyberport also bears gifts with Seasonal Privilege: shoppers who spend at designated amount can redeem parking and restaurant vouchers to make Christmas shopping extra fun. In order to achieve broader public appreciation of Cyberport’s role by leveraging on Arcade to reinforce digital tech innovation at Cyberport, this holiday, Arcade@Cyberport joins hands with Cyberport Incubation Company, Astro Digital in a 1.5m 3D Christmas Hologram – a true marriage of interactive technology and art. With the help of fans, this 3D Hologram sees neon festive animation to bring a holiday from the future! Projections of adorable snowmen, twinkling Christmas trees and other festive wonders make for a brilliant visual feast! This magical marriage of hologram and enchanting holiday décor will surely add color to your holiday snaps!

Step through a 6m-tall Magical Ice Gate and indulge in an audiovisual experience of a frozen wonderland

The grandeur of the 6m-tall Magical Ice Gate, composed of countless ice blocks transports visitors to a winter wonder land. The Ice Gate reveals breathtaking winter effects, such as ice freezing and cracking, which, when paired with lighting and sound effects from nature, make for an audio-visual experience that’s mind-blowingly realistic!

Capture flurries at the Interactive Christmas Wall

As snow falls from the wintry skies, visitors assume the role of Santa’s little helpers to collect the flurries he’s left behind. As the beautiful powder cascades down the screen, visitors can also strike a pose for photo to leave an unforgettable memory in the snowy wonderland.

Drink in the Northern Lights at the 360-degree Polar Light Ice Cave

Iceland’s Northern Lights is one of the world’s most remarkable natural wonders. Now, we also have a chance to enjoy and feel their festive fare! Cyberport x Tublock STEAM Christmas workshops for instant film photo frames, smart Christmas trees and Micro:bit flashing greeting cards

Children are blessed with boundless imagination. Nurture their creativity and cognitive skills to foster their brainpower, comprehension and ability to face aversion later on in life. To complement Hong Kong’s STEAM programme, Arcade@Cyberport has partnered with Tublock to present STEAM workshops. Let your kids put on their thinking caps at “Cyberport x Tublock STEAM Christmas Workshop” set for December 21 and 22, 2019, where they’ll unleash their boundless imagination and personally uncover the mysteries of science and the endless potential of Tublock and Micro:bit!

The workshops offer creative platforms for kids of all ages to realize their imaginations. The Parent-Child DIY Photo Frame Workshop encourages children to learn the functions of different parts. Upon assembly, moms and dads are welcomed to capture this moment and fill the frame with a family picture. In Tublock Christmas ornament-making Workshop teaches children to create festive ornaments like reindeer sleighs, Christmas trees and festive elves. Tublock X Micro:bit’s Thankful Card Workshop, kids learn theory, creativity and spatial intelligence to make a greeting card filled with love. Instilled with elements of STEAM, kids can up their scientific literacy while they send festive tidings this Christmas.
