Take your family and friends for this noble initiative! We cleaned up the beach, then we built sandcastle!
There’s still debris after typhoon Mangkhut on many beaches in Hong Kong. Great effort from many volunteers and our team to make the beach more beautiful than before arriving. We will continue this contribution this Sunday at Shek O. Come and join us!!
As appreciation for cleaning up the beach, we will teach you how to build sandcastle!!
- 1100 - 1230 Beach cleanup @ Shek O
- 1230 - 1330 Lunch (self-arranged)
- 1330 - 1600 Sandcastle workshop
Beach Cleanup Instructions
- Wear closed-toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals)
- Bring plenty of water in a reusable container(s)
- Bring sunscreen and bug spray
- Wear light clothing. A hat is advisable
- Bring and reusable gloves
- Be careful what you pick up. Don't scoop with your hands
- Take breaks out of the sun and remember to drink water
- Don't overfill bags - someone needs to carry them
