The Leading Dance Company in Hong Kong

Founded by modern dance master Willy Tsao in 1979, the City Contemporary Dance Company is a Hong Kong-based professional dance troupe that brings top Chinese dancers to modern productions that reflect the culture and landscape of contemporary China.

Every year, the company reaches a global audience of over 100,000 people with its distinctive style and diverse array of performances.

CCDC Dance Centre

CCDC’s commitment to education and development results in around 40 outreach performances annually, offering highly popular dance courses to more than 40,000 students and audience members. CCDC also helps to organise dance festivals in Mainland China. Since 1998, through its China Dance Development Programme, it has provided administrative and technical support to emerging Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese artists.

Children's Dance Courses

Under the pressure of formal education, children are always trained to be result-oriented examination achievers without focusing on the enjoyment during the learning process. However, the meaning of learning can only be completed with obtainment of happiness and sense of satisfaction together with academic achievement. Through cultivation of personal interests by extra-curricular activities, children can receive all-round development on their physical and mental health under pleasured environment. Art can help children opening up their mind to derive better understanding of the surroundings, making them persons with great enjoyment of life and with high learning initiative.

CCDC Dance Centre provides diversified children dance courses, which not only give basic dance training to children, but also inspire them to feel the happiness and freedom furnished by their inherent bodies. Creativity can also be aroused through pleasant dance-learning experience.

CCDC Dance Centre Childern Dance Programme stdents can pay HK$200 for a CCDC Kids Card (effective for a year) during enrolment to enjoy the following exclusive offers:

10% discount for Childern Dance Programme, and 20% discount during the Early Enrolment Period. (Early Enrolment discount is not applicable to Ballet-Graded Examinations Classes and Little Star.)
Special discount on tickests of selected CCDC productions. (Maximun 2 tickets per show)

Special discount for dance shoes and dance wear.
10% discount for Locker rental.

Remaks:

Only the card holder is eligible for the discount. The CCDC Kids Card is non-transferable.
CCDC Dance Centre reserves the right to verify the identity of the card holder.
CCDC Dance Centre reserves the right to adjust and terminate the discount of CCDC Kids Card without prior notice.
In case of loss of CCDC Kids Card, a re-issuing fee of HK$50 will be charged.
