Liquitex was the first water-based acrylic paint created in 1955 by Permanent Pigments Company. Since then, Liquitex pioneered in the development of acrylic mediums and additives to make it the most versatile painting medium ever, meanwhile gaining increasing popularity among artists and hobbyists.
This Colour EXPeriment Lab include a talk on the history and chemistry of acrylic paint, with hands-on exercises where participants can experiment with various Liquitex products (e.g. Heavy Body, ink, marker, spray) as well as a big selection of mediums to create all kinds of textures, to allow you to EXPerience the versatility of Liquitex! Each participant will receive a Liquitex sample pack.
The Lab is suitable for anyone age 15 or above who would like to learn more about acrylic/ Liquitex.
Fee: HK$350 to be collected at the door; including all materials, a drink of your choice from our cafe, as well as a box of Liquitex Professional Acrylic Painting Set (16pc set including 3 mediums, 6 Heavy Body Colours and tools).
The talk will be conducted in Cantonese, supplemented with English.
