The Fringe Club is thrilled to announce the inaugural FringeYouth Festival, set to take place from 16 to 21 July 2024.
This vibrant event aims to celebrate the creativity and talent of young artists while providing a platform for their voices to be heard. Arts practitioners performing to family audiences will also be featured.
With a diverse range of performances, exhibitions, workshops, and interactive experiences, the Festival promises to captivate audiences of all ages and backgrounds. It will feature an exciting lineup of multidisciplinary arts, including theatre, dance, puppetry, music, visual arts, crafts, storytelling, creative writing, and more.
- Mainstage performances: Witness captivating performances by talented artists in theatre, dance, and music, and enjoy interactive storytelling, diverse choreography, and musical compositions.
- Visual arts exhibition: Immerse yourself in a world of visual delights as emerging artists display their imaginative creations. Children can participate themselves in creating art related to the theme of My Hong Kong and see their own artworks displayed at the Festival. Writers' showcase: Experience the art of storytelling directly from the authors themselves and write your own stories. Various events tackle social issues directly relevant to youth, including supporting the environment and becoming an important member of the community. Workshops and masterclasses: Engage in hands-on workshops and masterclasses conducted by industry professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills, gain insights, and refine their artistic techniques - from knitting to digital art.
The Fringe Youth Festival is a celebration of the boundless creativity and innovation that young artists bring to the table.
