4 Hour makerspace sessions to get the kids thinking and building!
This stand-alone 1-day camp is designed to let kids lead their own divergent thinking process. A DIY maker kit to build a Ukulele connected to an amplifier will be provided as the basis for this product development class. This fun, hands-on experimentation approach encourages creativity, craftsmanship and applied thinking while incorporating elements of engineering, electronics, design, art, music and so forth!
Learning Objectives
- Incorporate different STEAM elements in the design process
- Experiment with product development to create a STEAM project
- Utilize creative thinking to build around a tool
- Understand how electronics
- Understand how a small power amplifier is integrated inside the body of a ukulele
