Marta Prieto, mum and Spanish educator, started "De la mano Spanish" to make learning Spanish exciting and effective for kids.

After years of teaching Spanish in International Schools in Hong Kong, Marta has learnt that the most important aspect for students when they are learning a foreign language is that they have to be motivated.

With that in mind, she has developed a teaching approach where communication and interaction with the students are the key factors, enabling the students to make real progress in Spanish from the very beginning: the achievement of reading simple sentences in Spanish and being able to communicate in Spanish in real life situations keeping the students motivated and happy.

"De la mano" means "hand in hand" in Spanish, reflecting this teaching approach: being together with the students during the different phases of learning Spanish, listening to them to understand how they feel about their progress and learning experience.
