A free-for-all weekend feast of badminton-themed activities is coming your way!
As part of HSBC Life's support of HSBC Group's global partnership with the Badminton World Federation, the insurance business of HSBC will bring a life-sized badminton court to Olympian City Two to offer members of the public a chance to experience one of Asia's most popular sports in a rather unusual location.
In addition to court time with your friends and family, there will also be a 360-degree photo booth and a giant shuttle cock to ensure plenty of photo opportunities for IG check-in! What's more, the badminton-themed activities that made their debut at the HSBC Life Badminton Zone in July - a hand-eye coordination reaction game, 'Smashing Save' optical illusion art, and the Virtual Reality badminton challenge - will return due to popular demand!
There is also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet two of the sport's greatest legends - multiple Olympic gold medallist and world championship winner in men's doubles Fu Hai-feng from China, and former world number one in men's and mixed doubles, Lee Yong-dae of South Korea, as well as the 2017 BWF World Champion and current world number 4 Viktor Axelsen at 2:30pm on Sunday 11th November.
For badminton enthusiasts and exercise lovers, there will be a one-hour workshop at 3pm on 10 Nov and 5pm on 11 Nov, where an expert will be on-hand to answer your questions on injury prevention.
