Equality for All: ‘Tally & friends’ Storytelling Competition

EOC launches storytelling competition with certificate for every finalist

The application deadline for “Equality for All: ‘Tally & friends’ Storytelling Competition”, organised by the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC), has been extended to 15 Oct 2018 (Mon).

We are writing to solicit your kind support in spreading the word about the competition, which follows the launch of the children’s books series Tally & friends by the EOC last October and aims to further promote messages of equality, diversity and inclusion among children.

The competition is divided into five categories, namely Pre-School, Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Team and Sign Language. Participants are required to download the storybook series from the Tally & friends website, and record a video of themselves telling a story from the series or a new story based on its characters. The video can then be submitted via Whatsapp to 5216 5937 along with the completed application form, which can be downloaded from here.

Shortlisted contestants will be invited to compete at the finals at Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library on 10 November 2018 and have the chance to win a trophy and cash prizes up to HK$3,000. All finalists will be awarded a certificate as well.

Join to support values of equality and anti-discrimination among the younger generation!

Details on rules, regulations and eligibility are available on the Tally & friends.
