Every cloud has a silver lining! With the passing of the pandemic, the International Children’s and Youth Film Carnival returns in full swing this year with a golden lineup!

First of all there are three animations with live Cantonese dubbing. Rosa and the Stone Troll and The Ape Star are adaptations of Scandinavian children’s literature. Together with the multi- award-winning Oink, this collection carries positive messages like courage, compassion and kindness for the young audience and parents.

“Friendship” plays a connecting role in Tales of Franz and Little Allan – The Human Antenna. In Dragon Princess, little dragon Bristle goes on a journey to the world of humans and learns the meaning of friendship and solidarity. If human beings and dragons can be friends, why shouldn’t cats and mice? A retelling of the Grimms’ fairy tale, the cat and mice in The Amazing Maurice turn out to be scammers! Also featuring a mouse, diva Yuku in Yuku and the Himalayan Flower shows you how lovely music can overcome obstacles.

Little Nicholas – Happy as can be and Little Nicholas’ Treasure are the best adventure guides for children who love to run around. Wanna know how children spend their summer holiday in France? You don’t need to fly over, just join Nicholas’ journey in the cinema!

This year, the Carnival is back to the North District Town Hall, and we are collaborating with Emperor Cinemas to bring wonderful films to The LOHAS in Tseung Kwan O.

Let’s have fun and create unforgettable memories in the cinema. See you there!
